The southeastern end of the cliff begins at the western edge of Piccolomini crater . From there it extends in an irregular arc to the north, reaching a height of almost one kilometer . The arch ends in the north in an irregular area with no clear boundaries, which is bordered by the striking craters Theophilus , Cyrillus and Catharina .
