The Russian Ecological Party "The Greens" (Russian Российская экологическая партия «зелёные» ) is a political party in Russia . She represents ecological positions and supports the policies of President Vladimir Putin .

history

Party Congress 2007

In 1993 the ecological movement "Kedr" ( cedar ) was founded. In 1994 it was transformed into the Constructive Ecological Party "Kedr" . In 2002 it was renamed the Russian Ecological Party "The Greens" .

In 2008 the party restructured itself again into the organization Russian Ecological Society "The Greens" . It recommended that its approximately 60,000 members join the Just Russia party . In 2012, at a congress, it decided to transform it into a Russian ecological party, "The Greens" .

In 2013 she achieved 5.11% of the vote in regional elections to the parliament of the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria and received two parliamentary seats. Therefore, it was the only ecological party to run for the 2016 Duma elections and achieved 0.76%.

The party maintains a green patrol , it runs a Priroda ( nature ) lottery and has a children's organization called Green Planet .

From 1995 to 2002 she worked with the Our House Russia party , from 2002 to 2006 with the Party of Life , from 2006 to 2012 with the Just Russia party .
