The Russian Embassy in Paris is the diplomatic mission of Russia in France .

The embassy is located in the 16th arrondissement at 40-50 Boulevard Lannes. The embassy building was built from 1974 to 1976 based on designs by architects IA Pokrowski, AI Klimotschkin and DA Lisitschkin. The building is a closed cuboid with a perimeter of almost 400 m and an inner courtyard. It also serves as a residential complex for employees, received a school and a concert hall for 450 people. The building was opened on June 22nd, 1977 when Leonid Brezhnev visited France.

The Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Center , which is located in the center of Paris, is also part of the embassy and has Political Immunity .

The manor Hotel d'Estrées , which was built between 1711 and 1713 , serves as the ambassador's residence and is a cultural monument. The residence is located in the Quartier Saint-Germain-des-Prés , rue de Grenelle , 79. Since 1863, the embassy of the Russian Empire has been here. In 1896 the Emperor Nicholas II lived here during his visit to Paris. The Soviet embassy has been located here since 1924, when diplomatic relations with the USSR were established, and until 1977, with a break during World War II, when German occupation authorities had control of the building. 1979–1981 the building was restored by the USSR.
