Russkaya Starina

Russkaja Starina ( Russian Русская старина , Russian antiquities ) was a magazine with a focus on topics of Russian history of the 18th century. It was founded by the amateur historian Michail Semewski (1837-1892) and published in St. Petersburg . The publication was monthly, the magazine existed from 1870 to 1918. A reprint was published in 2008.

The first publications of the Russkaja Starina included u. a. the unpublished parts of Eugene Onegin and the Dead Souls , as well as the memoirs of Andrei Timofejewitsch Bolotow and Wilhelm Küchelbecker's diary.
