The German-language broadcast began on pay TV on March 12, 2017 on Nick Jr. , on free TV the series was shown for the first time on September 18, 2017 on Nickelodeon . The target audience of the series are children of preschool age .

The main characters in the series are the young inventor Rusty Rivets and his best friend Ruby. According to the motto "Combine and construct - take what you have, put it together and build something out of it!" They invent a wide variety of devices with which they can experience adventures and solve problems. The robotic dinosaur "Botasaurus", the little boy Liam and several small auxiliary robots are always part of the party.

The series should encourage the imagination of the audience, they should be encouraged to face their own tasks and problems with the most creative possible solutions.
