Ruth von Truchseß
Ruth von Truchseß (born January 17, 1941 in Zwittau ) is a German politician ( SPD ).
In 1958 Truchseß achieved secondary school leaving certificate, followed by the technical diploma through the telecolleg and a degree in economics at the University of Würzburg . She worked as a draftsman from 1962 to 1972, then worked in the notary's office and finally went to the Federal Labor Office .
In 1972 Truchseß joined the SPD. She was a member of the district council, sub-district chairwoman of the SPD Schweinfurt and from 1994 to 2003 a member of the Bavarian state parliament for the constituency of Lower Franconia .
