Ryōta Arimitsu ( Japanese 有光 亮 太 Arimitsu Ryōta ; born April 21, 1981 in Fukuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Arimitsu learned to play soccer on the school team at Tokai University Daigo High School . He signed his first contract with Real Cesate in 2000 . In 2003 he moved to Avispa Fukuoka . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2005 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League . For the club he completed 58 league games. In 2007 he moved to V-Varen Nagasaki . In 2012 he was with the club champion of the Japan Football League and rose to the J2 League. For the club he completed 162 league games. At the end of 2013, he ended his career as a football player.
