Sándor Pintér
Sándor Pintér (born July 3, 1948 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian politician without a party .
Life
Pintér was Minister of the Interior of Hungary in the Orbán I cabinet from 1998 to 2002 . In 2010 Pintér was again Minister of the Interior (in the Orbán II cabinet as the successor to Zoltán Varga ). Prime Minister Viktor Orbán appointed Pinter to his Orbán III cabinet after his party's victory in the parliamentary elections in April 2014 .
At first he worked as a driver for the Ministry of the Interior. From 1972 he worked as a supporter in Zugló. Between 1978 and 1985 he was rapporteur for the National Police Headquarters and then rapporteur for his report. From 1985 head of the criminal department of the Buda Police Headquarters, head of the department head. From 1988 he was head of the inspector of the Pest Police Headquarters, and from 1990 he was deputy head of the public security department. Since March 1991 he has been the police chief of Budapest. From September 1991 to the end of 1996 he was the national police captain. In 1991 he was promoted to major general and in 1993 to lieutenant general. She retired in late 1996. Since 1997 he has been a security advisor and member of the board of directors of OTP Bank Rt. From 2003 he was the owner of Civil Security Service Ltd. and since 2004 he was again a member of the board of directors of OTP Bank ZRt. In 2013 he was promoted to retired lieutenant general.
