content

Adam Sladek, a successful poet, albeit with an enigmatic oeuvre, wants to prove that politics, science and art only lead to something if they recognize the primacy of poetry. A commissioned work takes Sladek into the depths of Greek mythology and late ancient poetry. As payment, his client, a very rich philanthropist, promises the poet a complete edition of his works. Sladek is housed in a villa that changes shape. At some point, the aviator Amelia Earhart appears.
