Samsjön is a lake in Västergötland with an area of 8.31 square kilometers. The length from south to north is about 6.5 km and the maximum width is 1.8 km. The greatest depth is 28 meters. The outflow is the Månstadsån river in the south of the lake. The Sämsjön is mainly located in the area of the municipality of Ulricehamn . Only a small part to the south is in the municipality of Tranemo . The shore of the lake is largely forested. Vegby is located on the north-western bank with about 550 inhabitants.
