The singer group Pöllau is an Austrian, mixed choir from Pöllau near Neumarkt / Styria in Styria in the Murau district .

history

It was founded around 1946 from a crowd of men who were enthusiastic about singing. In 2016, the Pöllau group of singers took part in the ORF casting show The great chance of the choirs , which they were able to win through jury and audience voting. The prize is endowed with 50,000 euros; the broadcast on ORF eins had a market share of 27% in Austria. The choir currently has 38 members.
