Sébastien de L'Aubespine (* 1518 ; † 1582 ) was a French cleric and diplomat who came from a noble family in Burgundy . He was the brother of Claude de L'Aubespine .

Sébastien de L'Aubespine was abbot of the Notre-Dame de Basse-Fontaine monastery in Brienne-la-Vieille ( Aube ), Bishop of Vannes (1557–1558) and Bishop of Limoges (1558–1582). Under King Francis I and his successors, he performed essential diplomatic tasks. He was a minister under King Charles IX. and in 1564 one of the signatories of the Edict of Roussillon .
