Södra Idskär

Södra Idskär is an island in the Stockholm archipelago belonging to Sweden .

The island belongs to the municipality of Vaxholm and is located south of the island of Bergholmen . To the north-west lies Norra Idskär at a distance of only about 50 meters . Kungarna is to the southwest and Kungsborg to the south . The shipping route from the Baltic Sea to Stockholm runs north and south of Södra Idskär .

The island extends from north-west to south-east for about 150 meters, with a width of up to about 60 meters. There are several landing stages on the west and east sides of the island.

Södra Idskär has several buildings and some trees.
