Johan Sören Dalevi (born June 12, 1969 in Björneborg (part of the Kristinehamn parish , Värmland )) is a Swedish Lutheran theologian and bishop .

After his ordination in 1996, Sören Dalevi worked as an adjunct in Grums . From 1997 to 2000 he was youth pastor in the Karlstad diocese , then pastor in Karlstad until 2003 . Afterwards he was a doctoral candidate at the University of Karlstad and wrote a dissertation in religious education, on the basis of which he was awarded a Dr. theol. received his doctorate. From 2008 to 2012 he was school pastor at Geijerskolan in Karlstad, then lecturer at the university. On April 28, 2016 he was elected Bishop of the Karlstad Diocese and was introduced to his office on August 28.
