Sören Kaufmann
Sören Kaufmann (born May 8, 1971 in Gießen ) is a German slalom canoe who was active from the late 1980s to the mid-2000s.
successes
Kaufmann won four medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships : one gold medal (C-1 team: 1995 ), two silver medals (C-1: 1995, C-1 team: 2002 ) and one bronze medal (C-1: 1993 ).
He won three medals at the European Canoe Slalom Championships (1 gold and 2 silver).
He also competed in three Summer Olympics and finished sixth in the final of the C-1 slalom at the Games in Sydney .
