- Georg Söring (* 1970), film editor
- Jens Soering (* 1966), imprisoned in Great Britain from 1986 to 1990 and imprisoned in Virginia (USA) for double murder from 1990 to 2019
- Wolfgang Söring (* 1943), Hamburg pianist and composer
