Søren Bebe
Søren Bebe (born December 5, 1975 in Odense ) is a Danish jazz pianist and composer .
Bebe studied at the Royal Music Academy in Aarhus until 2004 . He has performed with his trio of Anders Mogenson (dr) and Kasper Tagel (b) since 2007. With him he recorded the albums Searching (MusicMecca, 2008), From Out Here (Your Favorite Jazz / VME 2010), A song for you (VME 2012), Eva (2013, with bassist Marc Johnson ), Gone (2014) and Home (2016). Besides Europe he toured in the USA, China, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Brazil and Morocco, played at festivals like the Copenhagen Jazz Festival or the Jazz Festival in Jakarta and that of Hong Kong. Bebe lives in Copenhagen.
In 2012 he won a grant from the Danish Art Council. In 2001 he and his trio won Young Nordic Jazz Comets.
