South Azerbaijani Awakening Movement

The South Azerbaijani Awakening Movement ( Azerbaijani Güney Azerbaycan Milli Oyanış Herekatı , Gamoh ; Russian Движение национального пробуждения Южного Азербайджана , Persian جنبش بیداری ملی آذربایجان جنوبی) Is an in Baku based pan-Turkish separatist group that the secession of Iranian Azerbaijan from Iran favors, as well as the "Association of Azerbaijanis , on both sides of the Araxes live -Flusses".

The center-left revival movement split under Mahmudali Chehregani from the South Azerbaijani National Liberation Movement (SANLM), which was founded in 1995, and claims to represent the interests of the Azerbaijani minority in Iran.

Since February 2, 2007, South Azerbaijan has been represented at the UNPO by the South Azerbaijani Awakening Movement.
