The Arnis Tournament of the 23rd Southeast Asian Games, 2005 took place between December 1st and 4th of the same year at the Emilio Aguinaldo University of Applied Sciences in Ermita , Manila . The Wushu tournament was also held there. For the first time since 1991 , Arnis was run as a discipline again at the Southeast Asian Games. In this discipline, East Timor won a medal in an international competition for the first time.

Six gold medals were awarded to participants in the full contact tournament for men and women.
