The Southwest German Chamber Orchestra Pforzheim (SWDKO) is the chamber orchestra of the city of Pforzheim .

history

The string orchestra was founded in 1950 by Friedrich Tilegant and its repertoire ranges from old to new music . It has recorded more than 250 records since it was founded and in 2016 consisted of fourteen musicians from seven nations.
