Sıtkı Salih Brat

Sıtkı Salih Gör (* 1936 in Elazığ ) is a writer of the Turkish language and literary translator from German.

Sıtkı Salih Gör was already a graduate engineer in forestry (Istanbul) before he came to Berlin to study journalism, among other things. He later worked as a consulate officer in Karlsruhe .

His literary work includes his early poems, which were published in Turkish periodicals, short stories and, last but not least, literary translations from German into Turkish. In Turkey, works by Bertolt Brecht , Peter Handke , Rainer Maria Rilke and B. Traven appeared in his transmission. In 1987, Görs published a volume of short stories in German with his own stories under the title Before the goal .
