SJ is the first studio album by the Frankfurt rapper and singer Jonesmann . It went on sale on January 27, 2006 and reached number 31 in the German charts.

backgrounds

The first single, Until the Last Falls , was also released on January 27, 2006 and charted at number 62 in the German charts. The second single was released on March 31, 2006, Call Me Jones .

Originally, SJ was already completed between 2004 and 2005 after a three-month production phase. Jonesmann and label boss Azad wanted to release the album exclusively through a major label, so the album was postponed several times. In January 2006, SJ was released through Bozz Music in collaboration with Sony BMG and Subword. The album is very diverse in terms of themes and background music. The rapper used many well-known producers such as Benny Blanco, Sti and phreQuincy, the only feature being Bozz Music founder Azad . Jonesmann practices R'n'B in various tracks in addition to hip-hop. He first announced that this was his only rap album and that he would then devote himself exclusively to R'n'B. In May 2008 Jonesmann released a rap album on his own label Echte Musik after he split from Bozz Music in December 2007.
