The Ligeti SC took part in the Slovak championship of the Hungarian Football Association MLSz, which the club won in 1925, 1925/26, 1927/28, 1928/29, 1930/31, 1931/32 and 1932/33. In the 1930/31 season Ligeti prevailed against the Slovak champions of the Czechoslovak soccer association ČSF, the 1st ČsŠK Bratislava , and thus won the Slovak championship of the Czechoslovak soccer association ČSAF.

Ligeti took part twice in the Czechoslovak amateur championship. In 1925, however, the team did not play for the first round match against SK Moravská Ostrava . In the 1930/31 season Ligeti failed with 0: 7 and 2: 1 at the first round opponent SK Kročehlavy .

With the abolition of professional football , the Ligeti SC took part in the second-rate, four-tier Divize , but with little success. In the 1934/35 season, the team was penultimate, the last place in 1935/36 means relegation to the third division.

After the Munich Agreement and the resulting establishment of an independent Slovakia in 1939, the club was renamed Engerauer SC . The team took part in the Gauliga Niederdonau . In 1945 the Engerauer SC disbanded .
