Football department
The football department was founded in 1899. The colors of the team were white and black. The club also had the coat of arms of Milan , a red cross on a white background, on the chest of the shirt .
In the 1901 season they took part for the first time in the official championship of the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC), but failed in the first round. Things went better, however, at the championship of the Federazione Ginnastica d'Italia (FGNI) at this tournament played in Bologna , Mediolanum won the championship title. The following season was very similar, again they lost their first game in the FIGC tournament. But at the FGNI championship you could defend the title. As a result, the club took part in various tournaments, but without being able to succeed again.
In 1904 the soccer team disbanded, and most of the Italian players switched to the US Milanese in 1905 .
