The SG Ardagger / Neustadtl is a Lower Austrian women's soccer team in the Amstetten district , which plays in the fourth-class AKNÖ women's area league Mostviertel. From 2002 to 2012, the team belonged to the ÖFB Women's Bundesliga , the highest Austrian division in women's football.

history

The club was founded in 1996 and began operating the championship in the Lower Austrian Women's League in the 1996/97 season. In the following season they were promoted to the 2nd Division East of the Austrian Women's League, where they played until the 2001/02 season. This year the women won the championship title in the 2nd Division East without losing points, which meant promotion to the ÖFB women's league . The most successful seasons were 2002/03 and 2006/07, in each of which the fourth place was achieved by ten teams. In 2011/12 one rose voluntarily from the ÖFB women's league to the Mostviertel regional league.
