Robert Primavesi (* 18th November 1854 in Olomouc / Olomouc in Moravia ; † 19th April 1926 in Vienna ) was an Austrian entrepreneur, landowner and member of parliament.

Life

The cousin of the banker and patron of the Wiener Werkstätte , Otto Primavesi , studied after graduating from elementary school and high school at the Technical University in Dresden , where he was a member of the Corps Thuringia in 1873 . He later became entrepreneurially and politically active and was, among other things, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Olomouc, Advisory Board in the Imperial and Royal Ministry of Finance, Member of the Central Commission for Commercial Education, City Councilor of Olomouc, Member of the Moravian Parliament from 1897-1918 and Member of the Reichsrat from 1899 October 1918 to February 16, 1919 Primavesi was a member of the Provisional National Assembly of German Austria . 1913–1915 he had Josef Hoffmann build the Villa Primavesi in Vienna- Hietzing for himself and his partner Josefine Skywa .
