SG Wannabe ( Korean SG 워너비 ), also known as SG Wannabe + , SG Wanna Be , SG Wanna Be + , is a South Korean pop and R&B band with great popularity in Asia, especially in South Korea, China and Japan .

history

SG Wannabe was founded in 2004. She first achieved great fame in South Korea through her first single, Timeless . This already reached number 1 on the South Korean charts within a few weeks. Since then, all of her singles have been placed in the top 20 of the Japanese and South Korean charts. In 2005 and 2007 the band received the gold record for their songs Sin and Punishment and Arirang . In 2008 the singer Chae Dong Ha left the band. The band then withdrew for several months, but appeared again with a new album. Her seventh album has now been released.
