The unit also has sniper rifles, shotguns and grenade launchers.

Recruitment and training

It is only recruited from other Bosnian-Herzegovinian police units. It starts with a 7-day selection process in which the aspirants are examined medically, physically and psychologically. This is followed by a six-month training course in which the recruits have to learn tactics, shooting and martial arts. After this training they are assigned to a unit and have to receive further training in a special area.
