The sports and cultural association Oberstenfeld e. V. from 1946 (SKV Oberstenfeld eV) is a sports club from Oberstenfeld in the Ludwigsburg district , Baden-Württemberg .

history

The club was founded in 1946 with 43 members and an active team, as well as one A and one C-youth in handball. In 1955 gymnastics began. In 1964, women's gymnastics was added. The table tennis department was established in 1965 and was closed in 1999. In 1968 the judo department was founded. The recreational sports group was founded in 1976.

In 1981 the coronary sports group was launched. 1999 Aikido becomes an independent department. 2003 Aerobics becomes an independent department. There are currently approx. 1300 members in the individual departments of the SKV Oberstenfeld.

Departments

In addition to competitive sports, which u. a. is promoted in handball, there are still departments at SKV, which are located in the areas of popular, leisure and rehabilitation sports.

Handball

The handball department consists of five active teams, including three men's teams, one women's and one young senior team. Furthermore, a senior squad and eight youth teams are going into the 2010/11 season. There are also handball minis for the little ones. The first men's team is currently playing in the Württembergliga / Nord, while the women's team is playing in the district class. The second men's team is in the district league and the third team plays in the district league B.
