history

SK Brage was founded in 1907, the individual departments competed as ball clubs Brage , Brages Atletavdeling , Brages Idrætsavdeling and Brages Skiavdeling . When the Norgesserien was founded as the highest division in Norway in 1937, the football team belonged to the 8th district. Until the war-related interruption, the team took part in the league, even when the game was resumed in 1947, the club was represented in the top division.

Then, however, the league was concentrated on 16 teams in two seasons, the SK Brage missed participation in the now called Hovedserien championship. In the Hovedserien 1959/60 the club managed to rise, which, however, was followed by direct relegation. As a result, SK Brage slipped into the lower class league area. In 2009, the club stopped playing.
