from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The SPRESI database ( SP eicherung and RE cherche S trukturchemischer I nformation) is one of the largest databases for organic chemistry worldwide. The SPRESI database contains information on 5.8 million structures and 4.6 million reactions from 700,000 references including 170,124 patents. The data in the SPRESI database covers the period from 1974 to 2014 and was recorded by WINITI (All-Russian Institute for Scientific and Technical Information) in cooperation with VEB Informationsverarbeitung Chemie Berlin (ZIC). The annual updates are carried out today by the WINITI Institute.

This data has been offered by InfoChem GmbH in Munich, Germany, since 1990. You can either research the SPRESI data using the SPRESI web web application or, alternatively, acquire all or part of the data in SD / RD format.

SPRESI web enables the search for structures , reactions and references. It can be researched in over 32 million factual data, such as physical properties and reaction conditions. In addition, u. a. Links to chemical suppliers and document delivery services are offered.

SPRESI mobile , a free app for iPhone and iPad devices , has also been available since March 2012 . It provides direct access to ChemReact, a sub-database of the SPRESI database that contains more than 500,000 unique reaction types and associated references.
