Statistica ( own notation : STATISTICA ) is a statistical software the manufacturer StatSoft .

Statistica is a universal software for statistical and graphic data analysis. It has a modular structure and offers a wide range of methods. The basic module includes basic statistical evaluation methods such as statistical indicators, correlations and variance analysis. The additional module Professional offers further general higher evaluation methods. The additional module Industry summarizes procedures that are mainly used in an industrial context. These include a. Quality control cards, process analysis and test planning. Other special products, for example for data mining and multivariate SPC, are also offered.

Statistica Enterprise offers additional functions for company-wide use: data access to external databases and standard analyzes can be automated and results can be distributed to defined persons. The view of the system and the operating options can be customized.

At Statistica, the required functionalities are activated individually. This represents a unique selling point compared to the other large providers of statistical software. The industrial market in the Six Sigma area is practically divided between Statistica and the competitor product Minitab .
