The STIWA Group is an Austrian family company based in Attnang-Puchheim . The company operates internationally in the field of product and high-performance automation. The STIWA Holding GmbH is the holding company of STIWA Group. In addition to the core business of high-performance automation, product and software development for manufacturing automation, subcontracting of metal and plastic assemblies, building technology and laboratory automation are among the group's core competencies.

history

In September 1972, the electrical mechanic and independent works consultant Walter Sticht founded STIWA Fertigungstechnik Sticht GmbH in Attnang-Puchheim. The first orders included the design of simple manual workstations for the assembly of small parts, and shortly afterwards the first series products were developed - detanglers for springs. These formed the basis for the development of the linear feeding technology, which today represents an essential foundation for automation solutions from STIWA.

The commitment in the field of training, which has been going on since the 1980s, has received several awards, most recently the Anton Benya Prize and the ineo Award from the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce .
