STP press

STP-Press is the state news agency of São Tomé and Príncipe . It publishes its reports in Portuguese .

STP-Press was founded in 1985 in the capital São Tomé . Ricardo Neto is the agency's director (as of January 2018).

At the Communication Forum of the Community of Portuguese- Speaking Countries (CPLP) in Lisbon in July 1996, the Aliança das Agências de Informação de Língua Portuguesa , the association of Portuguese-language news agencies, was founded. STP-Press was one of the seven founding members.
