The SV Höngg is a football club with the club colors of red and blue from the Zurich city district Höngg . The club was formed in 1941 from a merger of the former Höngg football club and the Talchern sports club. In the 2004/05 season, Höngg made it to the interregional 2nd league . In the seasons 2008/09 and 2009/10 the club even fought in the first division . After relegation and promotion, SVH has been back in the first division since the 2011/12 season.
