history
The club was founded in 1925 as SV Thea Traun . The name affix stood for the friend of the founder at the time, Hans Wiesinger. The club trained on the Ritnerwiese after it was founded. The club played its first games on the Pimiskern or on the Reinthalerwiese. In the course of the club's history until 1973, the Trauners always played in the lower Upper Austrian football leagues and in 1973 they were promoted to the Upper Austrian regional league , which was then the highest division in Upper Austria . The club's name at that time was CALORIT Traun. CALORIT was a company from Traun, the then President Fritz Leisch + was the pioneer in the regional league. The playmaker in the rise wasBrazilian Carlos Lima called Chico , who had already become Austrian football champion with LASK Linz . From 1975 the club was called SV HAKA Traun . After Calorit and Fritz Leisch stopped supporting the association, the Traun entrepreneur Karl Hackl took his place with his company HAKA Küche . Around 2012 the club was known as SV foli-pack Traun . For one game year, 1994/95, HAKA Traun played in the re-established Regionalliga Mitte, which at that time consisted of only eight clubs. As the penultimate, however, the club had to relegate again.
In 2012, Gerhard Hackl took over the club, which at the time was heavily in debt and was about to end. The association was renovated and realigned.
