Magdalena "Leni" Nadine Jakober (born July 6, 1993 in Linz ) is an Austrian soccer player .
Career
societies
Jakober began her career in September 2001 in the junior team at SV Traun . In July 2008 she left SV Traun and switched to Ladies LASK Linz . There she first played in the youth and from the 2008/09 season in the reserve before moving to Union Kleinmünchen in 2009. After a move failed in 2011, she signed a one-year contract with the German Bundesliga club FF USV Jena during the summer break of 2012 in Germany . She made her debut for Jena in the friendly against the district selection Hersfeld / Rotenburg on July 29, 2012. On March 24, 2013, she made her Bundesliga debut for FF USV Jena when she was substituted in the 80th minute for Amber Hearn .
After Jakober relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga with the second team of FF USV Jena, she moved to FFV Leipzig . Jakober made her debut for Leipzig at the DFB-Pokal first round success over SV Henstedt-Ulzburg . After Jakober played 17 games for FFV Leipzig in the 2014/2015 season, she moved to ETSV Würzburg in summer 2015 . There she only made six season appearances due to an injury, after which she moved to TSV Crailsheim in July 2016 . After Jakober only made six appearances at TSV Crailsheim, she returned to ETSV Würzburg in January 2017.
During the winter break of the 2017/18 season Jakober moved to the second division Arminia Bielefeld . After 9 games in the 2nd Bundesliga North, Jakober moved to the Allianz Frauen-Bundesliga promoted Borussia Mönchengladbach .
National team
Jakober has so far played for the Austrian U-17 and U-19 national team. She has been part of the senior squad of the Austrian women's national team since 2013 .
Personal
In addition to her football career, she is studying educational science at the Julius Maximilians University in Würzburg .
