The SV VELO Wateringen (short for Sportvereniging Verdedig en Loop Op Wateringen ) is a Dutch multi-discipline sports club from Wateringen .

VELO sports facility

The club was founded on July 14, 1930 as a football club. In the course of the decades further departments were founded (handball 1949, Ryu Ha 1960, badminton 1966, volleyball 1972, Fiets Tour Club Westland 1974, boules 1991). The club achieved numerous successes, especially in badminton.
