SWEEPS-11

SWEEPS-11 is an exoplanet that orbits the yellow dwarf SWEEPS J175902.67-291153.5 every 2.1374 days . Due to its mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet . It was discovered in 2006 using the transit method by the Sagittarius Window Eclipsing Extrasolar Planet Search project. The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 0.03 astronomical units and has a mass of approx. 10 Jupiter's masses. It has a radius of approx. 1.1 Jupiter radii.
