Saad al-Ghamdi

Saad al-Ghamdi ( Arabic سعد بن سعيد الغامدي, DMG Saʿd ibn Saʿid al-Ġāmidī ; * 1968 in Dammam , Saudi Arabia ) is a Qari (Quran reciter) from Saudi Arabia.

Life

Al-Ghamdi studied in his hometown Dammam and in 1990 learned the Koran by heart. His education includes a degree in Usul ad-Din (about the basis of religion ) at the University of Shariia and an ijaaza in al-Isnad of Hafs recitation . He is the imam of the Kanoo Mosque in Dammam and was previously an imam in Austria, the United Kingdom and the United States. Saad Al-Ghamidi has three children.
