Sabang is a city in the Indonesian province of Aceh , located in its extreme northwest on the island of Weh off the coast of Sumatra . Sabang is the westernmost city in the country. It covers an area of ​​118 km² and has 31,355 inhabitants (2011).

The city is divided into two districts ( kecamatan ): Sukakarya and Sukajaya .
