Sabat Islambouli

Sabat M. Islambouli (died 1941 ) was one of the first Syrian doctors . She was a Jew. Different versions of its name exist and it is also known as Sabat Islambooly , Tabat Islambouly , Tabat Istanbuli, and Thabat Islambooly .

Medical education

Islambouli studied at Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania in America. She graduated in 1890.

Next life

According to the college's alumni list, Ismlambouli is believed to have returned to Damascus after graduation and then went to Cairo . After that, the college lost contact with her. Little is known of what happened to her after she left America. She died in 1941.
