Sabine Mainberger

Sabine Mainberger (born June 15, 1960 in Oberkirch ) is a German comparatist and teaches at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn .

Life

Mainberger studied philosophy and literature at the Free University of Berlin . From 1987 to 1989 she was a lecturer in Italy and from 1989 to 1994 she was a research assistant at the University of Kassel . He received his doctorate in Kassel in 1993. Mainberger completed his habilitation at the Free University in 2000 and worked there at the Peter Szondi Institute, among other things, in the context of professorships and visiting professorships .

In 2010 she was appointed professor for comparative literature at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.

Mainberger's research interests lie in the history of writing and the relationship between the visual arts and literature.
