Christian Moser (comparator)

Christian Moser (born January 22, 1963 in Bonn ) is a German comparator and teaches at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . He is chairman of the German Society for General and Comparative Literature Studies.

Moser studied English , German and comparative literature in Bonn and Oxford . This was followed by his doctorate in 1992 and his habilitation in 2003. In 2007, he was visiting professor at Columbia University .

From 2008 to 2009 he was Professor of German Studies at the University of Amsterdam .
