Sabine Schäper

Sabine Schäper is a Roman Catholic theologian and social worker .

Life

After finishing school, Schäper studied Roman Catholic theology and social education at the University of Münster . She submitted her dissertation on the subject of “Economization in Disability Aid - Practical Theological Reconstructions and Investigations into the Ambivalences of a Diaconal Practice Field” to the Catholic Theological Faculty of the Westphalian Wilhelms University of Münster and was awarded a doctorate in theology . Since 2006 she has been a professor for the subject "Curative Education Methodology and Intervention" in the curative education course at the Catholic University of North Rhine-Westphalia . Her main research interests include adults and elderly people with disabilities, care concepts for people with intellectual disabilities and special behavioral difficulties, as well as ethical questions at the limits of life.
