A Sac [ sadʒ ] is in Turkey widespread, slightly convex, round metal plate for baking flat bread ( sac ekmeği or yufka ) and related dishes such Gözleme serves.

The plate is heated over embers of wood or charcoal - today also with gas flames or electrically. The flatbread is then baked dry on the hot surface only briefly.
