Sadaskano

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sadaskano was a son of the Kushan -Herrschers Kujula Kadphises . Sadaskano is known from a Kharoshthi inscription on a gold plaque in which he is referred to as the son of the gods or the son of the god . The title is reminiscent of the Roman title divi filius with the same meaning. The inscription is dated to the 14th year of the reign of the local ruler of Odi Seṇavarma , son of Ayidaseṇa. Sadaskano does not seem to have been a Crown Prince. Nothing more is known about him.
