Sahat Sitorus is an Indonesian diplomat.

In 1994, Sitorus was Deputy Consul of the Indonesian Consulate General in Toronto ( Canada ).

On March 13, 2017, Sitorus was appointed Indonesian Ambassador to East Timor by President Joko Widodo . On June 30th, he presented his accreditation to President Francisco Guterres . Sitorus succeeds Marcellinus Primanto Hendrasmoro in this position .

Sitorus has been married to Bintang VC Sitorus-Sitanggang since 1997.
