Sai Kanakubo ( Japanese 金 久保 彩 Kanakubo Sai ; born January 11, 1989 in Ibaraki Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Kanakubo learned to play soccer on the school team at Hanasaki Tokuharu High School and the university team at Komazawa University . He signed his first contract with Mito HollyHock in 2011 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club, he completed three league games. In 2013 he moved to league competitor V-Varen Nagasaki . For the club he completed 43 league games. In 2015 he moved to third division AC Nagano Parceiro . For the club he completed 17 league games. In July 2016, he moved to league rivals Kagoshima United FC . For the club he completed eight league games. He then played at Vanraure Hachinohe and Nara Club .
