Said Muhammad bin Sheikh Ahmed

Said Muhammad bin Sheich Ahmed (born around 1851; died 1904 ; called Al Maaruf ) was a preacher who brought the Sufi stream of Shādhilīya to Grande Comore . He was an opponent of Said Ali bin Said Omar and therefore had to go into exile around the same time that Said Ali was driven out by the French . Moroni Hospital was named after him.
